Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Sculpting Medium (any brand/type you prefer. I like to use Sculpey Polymer Clay). *A little clay goes a LONG way in miniature sculpting! Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, smoothing tool, A cutting tool (clay knife, blade, anything that you are comfortable with using) A non stick surface to work on (You can cover a piece of cardboard with parchment paper and tape it to the bottom…that works) A small rolling pin Wooden toothpicks (cut in half) or small pieces of sculpting/jewelry wire Variety of colors of clay (Skin tone, White, Black, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Light Blue, Green, Red) **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You will bake after class. Parental help is necessary.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be using a cutting tool. Please go over blade safety.

Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You will bake after class. Parental help is necessary.
