Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Bake charms
Polymer Bake Clay (I like to use Sculpey Polymer Clay). *A little clay goes a LONG way in miniature sculpting!
Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, dotting tool for eye sockets
A cutting tool (can be flat spatula, clay knife, anything that you are comfortable with using)
A non stick surface to work on (You can cover a piece of cardboard with parchment paper and tape it to the bottom…that works)
A small rolling pin or paintbrush handle or anything smooth to roll out small pieces of clay.
Variety of colors of polymer clay (white, black, green, blue, red)... I used Glow in the Dark clay for Zero!
Ultra Fine Point "Sharpie" permanent marker
Eye pins (to turn into charms before baking)

OPTIONAL: If using baked clay:
Clear Water based gloss glaze for after baking (I use Sculpey Gloss Glaze).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
**Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F/130 °C, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.
