Class Experience

Polymer Clay Art Sculpting of Legendary Fantasy Creatures and Mythical Beasts

In this live on-going class, we will create and sculpt one fantasy creature (as listed) each class, based on the weekly theme. Students may join in at any week. Students should take a basic polymer clay art sculpting class prior to this class, as some clay experience is necessary. Student interaction is encouraged, but not necessary. This class is taught in English.

Polymer Bake Clay (I use Sculpey III) in a variety of colors - check the week’s theme
Note: polymer clay in “Translucent” makes great wings and fins!
Basic sculpting tools, rolling pin, cutting tool
Aluminum Foil for propping 
Some wire or wooden toothpicks for adding support. Wire cutters.
Any Glass or Metal or Wood findings that you may want to add to your sculpts. Plastic CANNOT be baked!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
