Students will practice their drawing and math skills. The theme for this class is polygons! We will learn how to draw polygons. Students will also participate in a short discussion about why some shapes are not polygons, what is a polygon, and the different types of polygons. This class is designed for students who need help with math skills, or those looking to continue practicing. Students should have background knowledge with shapes and polygons. Prior knowledge is helpful, but not necessary as we will work on these skills. Learners will increase their skills in drawing, math, and listening.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Delaware Teaching Certificate in Music/Theater/Arts
During the school year I teach art to students in both a general classroom and special needs classroom. My school is in the city and serves students in grades K-5. I am trained in all areas of art. I also teach blocks of reading and math to students in a small group setting. The lessons that I am teaching in this class are lessons that I have taught at my school.
