My husband is a K-9 Handler. His canine partner is a Belgian Malinois dog named Amigo. Amigo is a member of our family, goes to work each day, and has time off just like any other police officer. This topic shows what the life of a police dog is like as well as the lifestyle of the humans who care for him. All dogs are special, but working dogs such as Police K-9s have very specific training and daily routines. At home, I provide assistance to my husband in the care of Amigo.
