**Please read the full description, including policies regarding refunds, transfers & ongoing payments before enrolling.** **Our organization offers class times in both U.S. time zones & internationally. Please verify that the time is AM/PM before enrolling.** **If you can only attend one class, you’re welcome to still sign up! After the class has been held, you can unsubscribe to ensure you’re not charged weekly. **Classes will still be held even if there's 1 learner for class. Please note for classes with one learner, class can end at 40 minutes since there aren't other students present for the show & tell portion. ********************** In this super fun Pokemon class, your learners will all come together to interact with other awesome Pokemon trainers to talk about Pokemon. Although this class is purely for fun, learners will have the opportunity to learn more about Pokemon! I will share a slideshow to display the guessing game and ask for learners to say the names out loud if they’re familiar. Class structure: *Actual times spent on each part varies based on class size. 2 minutes of introductions & catch-up 5-8 minutes of guessing Pokémon/discussions 8-12 minutes of picking Pokémon for battles 15-20 minutes of virtual battles 5-7 minutes of show & tell During our discussions, all learners are unmuted (unless necessary to mute for background noise or to avoid interruptions and give everyone a chance). For the majority of class, we play a Pokémon battle simulation (no cards needed) all on my computer screen that I will share. This is usually the most fun part, and needs everyone's attention when it comes to muting/unmuting for each other's turn, which may need parental guidance when first learning about the mute/unmute button in Zoom. Learners will pick their Pokémon (any generation) and battle it out with moves they pick. I can read the moves for learners who aren't yet readers. (: *Sometimes we win and sometimes we don't, which is a big learning lesson for persistence and why learners look forward to trying again in the next class. **In the super rare cases where our battle platform is down for a few hours (has only happened 4 times in the past few years), we will have backup games or discussions ready to fill class time. *Important Policies* Please note this is an "ongoing subscription" class, and you can cancel at any time. If a learner misses class, we are unfortunately unable to refund due to that spot being reserved from being available for another student. We are unable to hold spots or process refunds for one week to be missed in between due to the limited space available. Please use the "pause" feature in the classroom before the Sunday of the upcoming week needed to be missed to avoid being charged. Please note that if the class is full, pausing a subscription doesn't guarantee a spot when the pause is over. Due to high demand, please request transfers at least 48 hours in advance. Short-notice transfers cannot be guaranteed but we always try out best to accommodate various situations. Thank you so much!

I have a Master of Business Administration and have been an entrepreneur for 10 years, while serving business owners since 2017. In my classes, you'll find that I love to teach different areas of business, life skills, and early education -- and for fun, Pokémon and K-Pop! My teaching style is engaging and enthusiastic!
Primary classes: Business mentoring, reading/math tutoring, k-pop, sight words.
✨YAZ SANTOS
I am a passionate psychology major and avid Pokémon fan. I enjoy online gaming as a hobby while on the other hand, studying child psychology and development. My purpose in our classes is to ensure all students feel heard and open to share their ideas. As a Pokémon fan, I've played Pokémon since I was the same age as our youngest learners, which is why I believe it's important for all students to feel welcome, whether they're a new Pokémon trainer or have mastered the topic! My teaching style is playful and inviting.
Primary classes: Pokémon!
✨KIJUANA GRIFFIN
I have two years of experience in childcare and early education, where I’ve developed a passion for teaching phonics and early reading with a bonus of being a grandmother to many little ones! (: I love fostering curiosity with young minds to explore the world around them and learn through play & guidance. My teaching style is all about creating a supportive and engaging environment, where we can have as much fun as we can!
Primary classes: Phonics, sight words, phonics & pre-reader tutoring.

📆 SCHEDULE/CLASS REQUESTS:
We have scheduled times available for each class within the next 1-2 weeks to continuously offer different times. Beyond 2 weeks are based on demand/parent requests. You are welcome to submit a request for other times, and I will do my best to accommodate your learner's schedule.
✨POLICIES:
Siblings - Please note each learner that wants to participate in a class must be enrolled to be fair to other students participating. If you have more than one learner enrolled in the class, they are welcome to share a screen during class.
Refunds - Per Outschool's limited refund policy: "Full refund within 24 hours of purchase or up to a week in advance of the class." Please ensure the time is AM or PM when signing up as missed classes are non-refundable.
All of our group classes follow Outschool's policy to end class after 10 minutes of starting if no learners are present. Our 1:1 classes will remain open for 20 minutes after start time.
Transfers - We ask for transfer requests to be submitted at least 24 hours before the class start time. This ensures another learner may have the opportunity to take the class when the spot becomes available. If contacted after class, a refund or transfer cannot be completed.
**We do understand personal/family emergencies come up and will do our best to support you. If your learner is withdrawn on your end within the non-refundable period, we are unable to transfer you or reschedule a meeting. It is best to contact ThriveMind Academy first for your options.**
Please test Zoom before class. We like to be fully present with students as soon as we begin class, and do not access conversations or classroom comments on Outschool after the class has already started.
Learner minimums - All of our classes will continue as scheduled even if there's one learner enrolled. (:
Thank you for trusting us with your learner in class!💕
