Pokémon does not draw upon one culture's mythology, rather it draws from many different world mythologies. As such, it is a wealth of information. We'll discuss the references to and compare/contrast with ancient mythology, such as Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and more! The deeper the knowledge of the Pokémon universe, the more meaningful this class will be, so come prepared with lots of understanding under your belt.
