Pokémon Go 101 is the very beginning of your students Pokémon journey. They will learn all the basics and in and out of the game within a few classes. The class “Pokemon Go 101” was designed for the newer players. Starting from downloading the app to level 20. It’s also a place we’re newer players can interact with each other instead of finding their voices lost because they don’t have the newest and greatest Pokémon. This class will also go over how to download, catch, battle and elevate your new Pokémon master. They will interact with new friends in the class by adding them to their Pokémon GO buddy list. This will be a great help throughout the week as they will receive gifts that contain Pokémon, healing potions and eggs to hatch for more Pokémon! Week 1: mastering the curve ball & adding friends. Week 2: Inventory Day & evolution demo. Week 3: Pokestops & Gym tours. Week 4: Raid demo & Battles with friends Week 5: Raid Day! Let’s catch a legendary! The class portion of Pokémon 101 ends around class #5. After raid day/week 5, we will continue to do raids throughout the class each week.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Winthrop University
Hi! My name is Joshua A. I have a Bachelors Degree in General Business from Winthrop University. I am currently an online English teacher and was an instructor for two years. You can consider my classes the recess your learner needs throughout the day. I created the first Pokémon Go Raid class (Team Raid). I’m hoping to grow it enough to do it every day of the week.
On a personal note, I am married to a nurse with a daughter and two dogs. I use to play paintball for my college and was an instructor for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
