Each week a new Pokémon character is talked about in detail. Pokémon fans will share their toys, clothes, and other collections they may have. Pokémon fans then play a trivia game about the Pokémon of the week and then learn fun facts about that character, including which real-life animal inspired the creation of that Pokémon. (For example, the famous little yellow Pokémon, Pikachu, is based on the real-life Pika rodent that is found in Asia and North America) We will watch a short video of that animal and talk about how this animal is like a cartoon character. After talking and learning about the Pokémon of the week, Pokémon fans are taught how to draw and colour that Pokémon character. -Week of (1/8/2022): Pokémon discover and surprise 5 minutes - introduction and show and tell time. 10 minutes - Let's learn all about the Pokémon of the week. 20 minutes - Let's draw and colour the Pokémon of the week. 5 minutes - Show everyone you’re drawing and be supportive of others’ work as well.
