In this 3-week, self paced online course, students will learn about atoms, the periodic table, isotopes and mixtures. There will be quick Pokémon themed homework activities after each lesson (5-10 multiple choice questions).

There are take home assignments, that should take around 5 minutes to complete and could be done while watching the class. They are 5-10 multiple choice questions per assignment.Grading

Beginner Level
This is a self-paced Pokémon themed Chemistry class that will teach students about atoms, the groups of the periodic table, isotopes and mixtures. The videos are a mixture of lecture and presentation. The slides incorporate some Pokémon into the material, and the homework assignments are in the form of Pokémon quiz games. For example, the first homework assignment is nine multiple choice questions to open up nine Pokeballs with different Pokémon inside. The first video and homework assignment are posted. Once the student completes the first assignment, I will grade it and post the second video and homework assignment within 24 hours. The homework assignments are all Word documents and students can either attach the completed word document or post a comment or send me a message with the answers. I'll also answer any questions or comments within 24 hours. I have a two Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Science. I'm also a licensed Professional Engineer.
