Do you love Pokémon cards and want to talk about them? Do you want to open or watch other people open Pokémon card packs? In this one time class, students will get the opportunity to see freshly opened cards with their club members! They will also get the chance to work on communication skills by listening to others and presenting their own cards! In this interactive and engaging class, students can expect too… -briefly introduce themselves -watch their teacher/ students open a Pokémon card pack -show & tell a pre-selected amount of their Pokémon cards (around 10) -talk about Pokémon! Learners do not need a Pokémon card pack to join this club! Students are welcome to engage with others and show cards from their current collection! I will have a pack every class to open! If we ever open all packs and show & tell before the end of class, students may have the opportunity to show more of their personal collection or discussion Pokémon based topics!
Learning Goals
Students will practice communication skills through listening to other club members and presenting.

Hello Everyone! I am Miss Katie and I am so happy to be teaching through Outschool!
I absolutely love art and I believe that every student has the ability to grow and develop their talents....and it doesn't even have to be "boring"! I want students to practice their skills with topics that they find personally interesting and engaging! :D
I have a Bachelor's degree in Studio Arts and Technology from Purdue University. Currently, I am working on my certification for Visual Arts Education. After getting my degree, I realized that I loved both art and children so much that I wanted to help make art as special to my students as it has been for me!
