Class Experience

Through our conversations students will develop socioemotional skills such as:
• Self-control 
• Expressing feelings with words
• Listening and paying attention
• Pride in accomplishments
• Positive self image
• Asking for help when needed
• Showing affection to familiar people
• Aware of other peoples feelings
• Making new friends
• Connecting with people from various cultures and locations around the world over similar interests

Presenting to the group will also give them an opportunity to practice effective public speaking skills.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Pokemon battles might be considered violence
