Welcome to Pokemon School! At this school we are able to practice speaking and learning English while talking about a topic that we love: Pokemon! Each week we will talk about a different Pokemon and their types. Students are free to bring any Pokemon cards, books or toys that include those Pokemon types! I have been a teacher for 10 years working with students in this age range (4 to 7 years old). During this time I have taught many different subjects, including ELA, ESL and science. I have taught students who have performed very well in school and State exams. When teaching subjects to students I believe that teaching it in a fun way allows it to be learned easier. Relating the ESL and ELA to Pokemon is a great way to make learning fun!
