45 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Let's go on a quest to evolve our Pokémon! In this 45 minute class, we will begin with a discussion about our favorite Pokémon, their abilities, and evolution. All learners will get a chance to show, tell, and converse with their peers (if they choose). After our share, we will begin our quest with a lively warm-up, transitioning to our quest. During our quest, learners will choose which Pokémon evolution they like the best and complete the workout that pairs with it. Let's bend, stretch, jog, do push-ups, planks and much more popular workout moves as we get ready to catch em all! I will play music and show video clips and pictures of popular Pokémon evolutions. In between training moves, we will pause for a much-needed water break.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree in Psychology from City University of New York (CUNY) - John Jay College
Greetings! I'm Courtney and so pleased to meet you! I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University, a Masters Degree from The City University of New York, and a TESOL from Arizona State University.
For the past 7 years, I have worked with a startup as a professional college essay writer and have taught writing and literacy skills in-person and online to both K-12 and adult learners. In these classes, I would engage all of my learners in topics that were of interest to them. This allowed for speedy growth and progress in every aspect of their literacy, speaking, and writing development.
My classes are writing, conversation and literacy-based. Expect a book club, a creative writing class, a social club, and fun trivia as a few of my course offerings.
In my classes, I take a communicative approach to learning. I strive to meet your student where they are in their learning journey and support them from there. Whether it is a 1-day class or a 5-week class, the attention I give to your learner (and you) is personalized.
Speaking of personal, I am a mother of a wonderful 8 year-old. His creative and imaginative personality helps fuel mine. Also, I am from New York City and elephants, lemurs, coffee, and cooking are some of my favorite things.
I appreciate you for your time and look forward to meeting you and your learner in my class!
- Courtney
