Create a Pokemon masterpiece with this guided paint-by-number class! It will be easy and fun! Beginners are welcome! Artists of all experience levels are invited to join in this guided painting class with fellow Pokemon Masters. Outline of class: - Introduction and Explanation of Rules and Materials (5 minutes) - Step-by-Step Paint-by-Number Instruction (15 minutes) *** stretching game in between (3-5 minutes) *** - "Who Would Win?" Closing Game (5 minutes) The class participants will not be expected to stay muted during the entire class, as I know they will be excited to share their thoughts about Pokemon throughout the class! My teaching style is designed to foster a classroom that is positive and encouraging. My goal is to make everyone feel welcome. I will be using every participant's name regularly so that everyone feels seen, recognized, and included.
Learning Goals
Participants will practice attention to detail and learn how to hone their painting and artistic skills. Participants will practice skills that are beneficial in both academic and non-academic settings (lifelong learning, respect for others, courtesy for others, having a positive attitude).
Other Details
Parental Guidance
The nature of this class allows for materials that may create a mess, so please ensure your workspace has lots of room for creative freedom and nothing close by is subject to damage due to spills! Please use non-toxic materials for safety. Also,because there may be some physical components, please attend the session in an open area where you can stretch out your arms and legs. Stretch prior to class to prevent injury and keep water handy to stay hydrated.
Supply List
Learners will be sent a printable to paint on, but they are also encouraged to free-hand draw if they choose. Participants are to supply the following: - Paints and paintbrushes of choice (watercolor, tempera, acrylic, or oil... whatever you have and whatever you think works best!) - clean water cup - paper towels

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
