Class Experience

In this class we will be learning how to add and subtract within 10. So we will start off class by counting to 10 together then we continue by practicing  adding and subtracting numbers within 10. All learners will get a chance to participate if they like. Then after we practice we will go on an adventure where we are Pokémon trainers who are trying to find and capture Pokémon. Students will learn how to add and subtract within the number 10.

No homework will be assigned, however, a couple of worksheets will be provided that has dinosaurs for practice adding and subtracting.

  2 files available upon enrollment
There will be a couple of handouts but it is not required. It is purely there to help students learn to add and subtract on there own and to draw during class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
