***Wed at 6:00 pm EST section will be on week 1 on 1/17/24. Wed at 2pm EST section will be on week 9 (division) on 1/10/24 This ongoing group class will help your upper elementary or lower middle school student, who loves Pokemon, to master the process of multiplying and dividing one and two digit numbers. Students will get the chance to see some of their favorite Pokemon in word problems and games, and come to class with their favorite gear or Pokemon cards to share for the last 2 minutes...
This class is taught in English.
Students will practice their multiplication and division skills and gain confidence in the method needed to solve problems.
Teacher Rebecca is a certified secondary math teacher, elementary homeschooler, and has multiple years experience tutoring students in mathematics of all ages. She loves to make mathematics fun, and success attainable for all learners, regardless of their current skill level.
Please have students bring paper and pencil to class to work out problems.
