Wed at 2pm EST section will be on week 9 (division) on 1/10/24 This ongoing group class will help your upper elementary or lower middle school student, who loves Pokemon, to master the process of multiplying and dividing one and two digit numbers. Students will get the chance to see some of their favorite Pokemon in word problems and games, and come to class with their favorite gear or Pokemon cards to share for the last 2 minutes of class time. Students will practice multiplication and division facts 0-12. Each learner will have the opportunity to work independently and with the whole group. Learners will be encouraged to share their work, and asks questions about the process throughout the lesson. They can also share their own strategies with the class. Direct instruction, independent practice, and game like activities will be used to keep class interactive. The course will focus on a new skill and difficulty level each week. SCHEDULE Week 1 () - Students will review multiplication facts with 0, 1, 2. Division with the facts will be introduced at the end each lesson. Week 2 () - Students will review multiplication facts with 3's and 4's. Week 3 () -Students will review multiplication facts with 5's and 6's. Week 4 () - Students will review multiplication facts with 7's and 8's. Week 5 () -Students will review multiplication facts with 9's and 10's. Week 6 () - Students will review multiplication facts with 11's and 12's. Week 7 () - Students will practice all multiplication and division facts with a group game. Week 8 () - Final Multiplication Review Week 9 () - Division 0-2 Week 10 () - Division 3-4 Week 11 () - Division 5-6 Week 12 () - Division 7-8 Week 13 () - Division 9-10 Week 14 () - Division 11-12 Week 15 () - Review game with division Week 16 - Final review of Multiplication and Division **Schedule will restart after week 16
