Join me in this one time class as I read, "A Friend Like Pikachu." Students will follow along with the story and will create a Pokeball Snowflake. Students will be encouraged to discuss a holiday tradition they share with their family.

In this one time class, the pokemon trainers will follow along with the fun and interactive story, "A Friend Like Pikachu" by Rachel Chlebowski. We will get to know each other at the beginning of class where students are welcome to bring a toy or something cool to share! The teacher and students will read the book together and the teacher will openly discuss different aspects of the story. The teacher will encourage conversation throughout class, however the children are also completely...
Students will be able to practice the following: -Listening and following along with the story -Movement -Learning about how other students may celebrate the holidays with their loved ones. -Interaction with the other Pokemon Trainers. -Fine motor practice (Coloring and Cutting)
-One blank sheet of paper -Scissors -Coloring Tools (Crayons, Colored Pencils, Markers, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Pokemon Trainers may need help with crafting and clean up.
