In this class, Pokémon Go trainers ages 6-9 who are levels 20 up to 30 will have the opportunity to meet others who play the game! We will chat about our latest catches and game strategies. Take this class once or multiple times!

In this fun and social class, trainers ages 6-9 will have the opportunity to meet others who play Pokemon Go. This is an opportunity to meet and chat with new friends who have similar interests. We will show off our latest catches (rare Pokémon, shinies, perfects), discuss game strategy and share tips and tricks. I will ask questions and guide the discussion as needed. I plan to keep the class size small so there will be an opportunity for everyone to share. As far as my background, I have been working with boys and girls ages 8-14 for the past 8 years in both group and one-on-one settings. I have been playing Pokemon Go since 2016 and I have two accounts (Valor and Mystic). I started my Valor account in 2016 (level 36) and and I started my Mystic account (level 31) in December 2020. I recently started the second account so that I would understand what it is like to play the game from the beginning and be able to easily assist beginners. While I am the "teacher" and an experienced player, I am excited to "teach" as well as learn new things during class. Please note - This class is listed as a one-time class because my schedule does not allow for me to meet at the same time each week but please feel free to sign up multiple times. Each meeting will be unique and what we talk about will change. Although we will discuss raids during class, we will not be doing live raids at this time.

I am Profe (short for Profesora) Jess and I am so excited that you are here. You are probably wondering what makes me qualified to teach your son or daughter Spanish? Well, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Gordon College in Massachusetts. I have also spent time living in the Dominican Republic as well as Mexico. I have experience teaching in small group setting in person as an ESL paraprofessional at an elementary school. The past three years I worked at my church as a volunteer preschool teacher. Finally, I currently work online as an English teacher. I have been doing this for a year now and have taught students ages 3 to 16 at various levels. I absolutely love it.
I am so thrilled about the opportunity to connect with your son or daughter and learn together! I have been passionate about Spanish since I took my first Spanish class in the 7th grade and I hope to share my excitement and passion with your child.
Please review the following information before class:
- I recommend each student wears headphones with a microphone to eliminate background noise and feedback. This is not required, just recommended.
- Please arrive to class on time. The length of a class is approximate and varies based on student ability and number of students. Classes are designed to end on time.
- Late or Missed Class Policy: All courses will begin on time as long as one student has arrived and is in the classroom. If there are no students in the classroom at the assigned class time, per Outschool policy, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and leave the classroom after 10 minutes.Reviews
