Class Experience

Welcome back, Pokémon Trainer! You did an amazing job completing Level 1 (Pokémon Fitness Challenge-Level 1). You are now ready for Level 2. You've prepared for this moment!

Get ready to move and use your imagination as we search for and identify Pokémon! In this class, students will spend 20 exciting minutes testing their Pokémon knowledge while working out. Participants will see an outline of a Pokémon on the screen, guess the Pokémon name, and then do the exercise move that the Pokémon requires.

Let's bend, stretch, jog, do push-ups, crunches and much more popular workout moves as we get our Pokeballs ready to catch em all! I play music and show video clips and pictures of popular Pokémon in battle.

In between training moves, we will pause for a much-needed water break and talk about Pokémon.

Join us as we catch them all! I can't wait to see you in class!

Parental Guidance
It's important for participants to have on comfortable shoes, room to move freely, and some water nearby. Although this is a workout class, participants will be doing simple movements, in repetition, to work up a sweat! Prior to starting our training, we will stretch together as a class.

Master's Degree in Psychology from City University of New York (CUNY) - John Jay College
Greetings! I'm Courtney and so pleased to meet you! I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University, a Masters Degree from The City University of New York, and a TESOL from Arizona State University.

For the past 7 years, I have worked with a startup as a professional college essay writer and have taught writing and literacy skills in-person and online to both K-12 and adult learners. In these classes, I would engage all of my learners in topics that were of interest to them. This allowed for speedy growth and progress in every aspect of their literacy, speaking, and writing development.

My classes are writing, conversation and literacy-based. Expect a book club, a creative writing class, a social club, and fun trivia as a few of my course offerings.

In my classes, I take a communicative approach to learning. I strive to meet your student where they are in their learning journey and support them from there. Whether it is a 1-day class or a 5-week class, the attention I give to your learner (and you) is personalized.

Speaking of personal, I am a mother of a wonderful 8 year-old. His creative and imaginative personality helps fuel mine. Also, I am from New York City and elephants, lemurs, coffee, and cooking are some of my favorite things.

I appreciate you for your time and look forward to meeting you and your learner in my class!
