In this class, students will play a game of Double Jeopardy to test out their knowledge about Pokemon characters and facts! Jeopardy categories include: Pokemon Moves, Pokemon Abilities, Pokemon Generations, Pokedex Entries, Pokemon Types, and Gym Leaders. This is DOUBLE Jeopardy so questions will be HARDER. There are a total of 30 questions. **45 minutes is estimated max amount of time needed for a full class (8 learners). **For less students, total class time may be shorter (30 minutes min). **Depending on the number of students that sign up for the class, students may play an individual game or may be split into teams. For 3 or less students, players will play as ONE team and answer questions individually to earn points for the team. For 4 or more students, players will be split into TWO teams randomly prior to the start of class. Each team will be assigned a number (ex: Team #1, Team #2). The teacher will call on team members one at a time, who will take turns choosing a Jeopardy category and point value (ex: Pokemon Types, 100). The teacher will read aloud the question and the student will then provide the answer. *Each team will be permitted 3 chances to Ask-A-Teammate for help during the game.* The teacher will keep a tally of team points using the whiteboard. **Only positive words and encouragement will be tolerated during the game!** The team with the most points wins! If time allows at the end of the game, students can engage in a discussion about their favorite Pokemon characters and share interesting facts about Pokemon!
