The problem? His Official PokeDex Notebook was partially destroyed, and he's on the lookout for PokeDesigners who can help fill in the missing gaps of his damaged entries. PokeDesigners will generate innovative Pokemon in this ongoing class as they tackle weekly design challenges. Challenges do not build upon each other, nor do we carry PokeCreations from week to week, as Outschoolers must use new weekly guidelines and a surprise reveal design league tests to create each entry. Each PokeDesigner will do their best to build a PokeIndex worthy of admission into Prof. Oak's official notebook! With this ongoing course, your learner will: 1. Master brainstorming skills 2. Practice critical thinking 3. Build and design unique characters 4. Examine character traits and personalities 6. Write brief character summaries 7. Draw and design new Pokemon Characters** 8. Complete PokeDex Entry Lab Write-ups This class will enable emerging writers to apply brainstorming and simple writing strategies such as physical descriptions, background information, and character development. Outschoolers will learn to develop a character with supporting details and write a short, three to five-sentence character (PokeDex) summary. Finally, Outschoolers will learn basic character traits and analysis skills. Pokemon Design League Ongoing Schedule: 9-10: Create a Jumbo Pokemon & Secret Color Reveal 9-17: Create an Electric Pokemon & Secret Region Reveal 9-24: Create a Legendary & Secret Shape Reveal 10-1: Create a Micro-Sized Pokemon & Secret Type Reveal 10-8: No Class 10-15: Create a Fusion Pokemon & Secret Evolution Reveal 10: 22: Create a Transparent Pokemon & Secret Reveal 10: 29:Create a Plant-based, Ultra-Beast Pokemon 11-5: Create a Water or Electric Type & Secret Ability Reveal **This is not a drawing course. Learning Goals
This class will enable emerging writers to apply descriptive brainstorming strategies such as physical descriptions, background descriptions, and comparison of characters. Develop and gain an understanding of characters and their traits.

I am a certified Tennessee K-8th grade teacher (ABTCE). My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English, Communications, and Print Media. I hold a minor in Spanish.
