Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mass Communication Media Study. I had a stint in Oxford University as an exchange student. I am well traveled and I speak 4 languages. I am a performer with an extensive background in the entertainment industry and performance arts. I have performed for Barak Obama, Pope Benedict XVI, and Warren Buffet. I have opened for The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and made a movie with Will Smith. I enjoy learning and teaching art, languages, performance, and yoga. I am passionate about people and appreciate stories from around the world. I cannot wait to share some of my favorites with you!
I started teaching when I was 17 as a vocal coach. I fell in love with teaching even more when I started teaching Sunday schools. I have taught children ages 3 to 15. I have taught in classrooms as well as private settings. I have a curious eight year old daughter, and we love learning together. I am a classroom mom. I guest teach on performing, math, art, writing and story time for her second grade class. I love how children's eyes light up when they understand a subject and fall in love with learning.
It is a pleasure for me to connect children to the joys of learning. My classes are meant to add creativity to learning: the process is fun and exciting. All of my classes are easy going, relaxed and geared towards young students. They allow students to come out of their shells and find their love for creativity and artistic freedom. I hope your children can explore and discover new worlds in my classroom and travel to places they've dreamed about.
I am a citizen of the world. However, currently, I live in San Francisco, U.S.A, with my family. In my free time I enjoy food, yoga, real estate, hiking, singing and travel. I look forward to meeting you here in my classroom!
