Beginner Level
In this class, we explore the idea of pointillism. We will begin the class by discussing pointillism and showing some famous examples. Students will choose the colors they would like to work with. We will practice making our dots on the first sheet of paper by creating circles. Then, we will make our flowers together on the second sheet of paper. Students will share with each other at the end of class, if they choose to.
Learning Goals
To understand the concept of pointillism.
To execute that concept in artwork of their own.
To have fun and be creative!

2 pieces of white construction paper Q-tips (enough to have one per color you choose) Craft, tempura, or acrylic paint Paint palette or piece of cardboard to put paint on
