In this 1 day course, I will be teaching POV, Point of View.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 6
In this class, the students will learn the difference between first, second, and third-person point of view. Dr. Gretchen will discuss how to look at keywords in sentences to determine the point of view. Students will look at various pieces of text to identify the POV and the influences it has on the story. The class structure will be a overview video lesson, whiteboard presentation and then sample sentences/texts using the gradual release model, 3 part lesson structure. At first, students...

Homework Offered
Students will be required to use an ELA student interactive notebook. Homework will be giving once a week.Assessments Offered
Students will be given written scores on their assessment, a written reflection report of their group and a letter grade.Grades Offered
A one page lesson will be provided for the students. Students will need to access a website and have paper and pencil available.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
