Description

Class Experience

I want to students to know who some of the famous writers of ancient Rome, their works, and why they are still important to us today.
I have taught ancient Roman culture to students ages nine - college level but have been extensively teaching my daughter, who is eight about the ancient world for about five years now.
I will post discussion questions and a short, multiple-choice quiz on the classroom page following each week's video.
I will send informal assessments to parents/guardians when the class is complete to let them know about student engagement, behavior, and interest, noting on their involvement on the classroom discussion board.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Roman literature can be highly graphic in nature, but due to the age range of these students, all content is guaranteed to be age appropriate, as this course only introduces the writers, the type of works they wrote, and their significance.
