Poetry is the topic of discussion in this class. In our discussions, we will attempt to grow an appreciation of the this most vital and often disparaged art form. This class is all about sharing: sharing poetry we have written, and sharing poetry by other authors we have recently discovered. This session is a workshop where we can engage the wisdom of each other, and the wisdom of the ages.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how insightful poetry can be.
Students will learn that reading poetry out loud is a highly effective way of getting better at writing poetry.

This class is about cultivating an appreciation of the arts. No seditious or dangerous imperatives will be brought to bear.
