Other Details

Parental Guidance
Dark Themes – The poem we discuss in the class involves themes of loss, betrayal, and vengeance. The disappearance of the children at the end can be unsettling, so discussions will be framed with sensitivity, perhaps offering different interpretations or historical context. Possible Fear of the Unknown – The figure of the Pied Piper himself, with his supernatural-like power over the children, might be eerie to some students. We will discuss the character in terms of folklore and symbolism rather than as a literal threat.
Supply List
