Description
Class Experience
Students will take a deep look into four types of poems and stretch their self expression and creativity. Students will learn about rhyme schemes and review words that rhyme and word syllables. We will create four different poems, Autobiographical, Diamante, Question, and Acrostic. Skills shared will also include brainstorming, creativity icebreakers, even a bit of improvisation. This class allows campers to develop their use of adjectives and adverbs to create a work of art. We will have lots of fun!
I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
