Description
Class Experience
Students will gain an increased understanding of how to analyze and understand poetry while discussing the poetry of Amanda Gorman, Robert Frost, and Emily Dickinson.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12. For the past several years I have taught small group classes on a variety of topics, including poetry.

A PDF will be provided before class begins. Students need to print the PDF and to have a non-black (red, green, blue, etc) pen.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed through class discussion to ensure student understanding and so I, as the teacher, can adapt the class to student's needs. There is no formal assessment.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
