Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
This class will teach learners to use critical thinking, close reading, build upon vocabulary, poetic styles and devices, literary devices and techniques.
I have a BA (Hons) degree in English and a Teaching Literacy Diploma for Primary and Secondary Schools. I am a qualified English Language teacher with TEFL and am currently studying a Masters Degree in English.
Learners will be asked to read and respond to material, to engage in discussion with classmates on the classroom page and complete a poetry detective worksheet each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner's will be assessed on their responses and level of understanding
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
