Poetry Appreciation and Creation (Hey, That Rhymed!)
On a weekly basis, students will both appreciate (by reading or listening) a style off poetry and creating it on their own!
Each week in our ongoing class, we will listen to and/or read the weekly style of poetry. (some styles will potentially go for 2 or 3 weeks.) After hearing some great examples we will all be allotted time to create our own masterpieces to present in front of the class! Students are definitely welcome to join any and hopefully every week and for weeks where we may cover the same style over a longer period of time, it is recommended that you attend for all of the sessions if possible for...
