Description

Class Experience

In this interactive course, students will learn a songwriting technique I liked to call "word seeds." Using completely random words as a starting off point, we will create wonderful poetry together. This class is for students who are interested in creative expression but don't know where to start.

I will begin with an introduction to songwriting and songwriting techniques, where we will dive into topics such as: Why write a song? What is writer's block, and how do I overcome it?. We will...

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
