This week long camp will focus on Poems! We will write a different form of poetry each day and illustrate our "published pieces. Students will be encouraged to share their poems with classmates. This is a very interactive class and learners can ask the teacher for help as they go. On the last day, we will create a pocket from scrapbook paper to store our poems in. Learners will enjoy hearing some poetry, sharing their own and creating some art work as we go along. Day 1: Lunes and...
Learners will practice various forms of poetry writing skills. Students will use public speaking skills when sharing work. Learners will use artistic expression when publishing.
Paper- white and construction Pencils Markers or crayons (or both!) White glue ( glue stick doesn't work as well) A few sheets of 12x12 scrapbook paper scissors
We will be using scissors if parents want to monitor.
