Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
At the end of year students will have a great understanding and ability to execute the following skills- -Phonics on a intermediate level -Writing letters and numbers -Appreciation for music - Creating hypothesis -Understanding social emotional wellbeing -Intermediate understanding of vocabulary and language -Intermediate understanding of world geography -Ability to listen and follow directions -Understanding of the importance of physical activity -Intermediate understanding of the months of the year -Intermediate understanding of the days of the week -Ability to count by recognition as we as memory -Intermediate understanding of manners -Intermediate understandings of science (Solar system, habitats, lifecycles, weather, etc.) -Understanding colors -Sorting by size, patterns
Pencils Play doh Crayons (optional)
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class incorporates hands on learning as well as movement. Children will need a clear space to move around safely.
