Students will learn in depth about Pluto, including its atmosphere, its surface features, as well as its location in the Solar System, the Kuiper Belt. As students explore the surface of Pluto, they will discover its defining geographical feature, the heart shaped Tombaugh Regio as well as mountain regions and what cryovolcanoes are. Students will learn about the history of Pluto's discovery and naming.
