Do you have a budding poet on your hands? We will try our hand at many styles of poetry; villnelle, ode, sestina, ekphrastic and Narrative poetry.
Class experience
As a writer, I like time to write. We will start with a mini-lesson introducing the form, an example poem and then we will have time to WRITE! We will pause for feedback and then dive back into writing. Feedback offered in class will be general to style.
