Class Experience
Upon completion of the class, students will have a working understanding of 3rd & 4th grade grammar, mechanics, and spelling.
I am a Colorado-certified K-6 teacher and have been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught in a variety of setting, including public schools, private schools, and homeschool environments. I've been teaching on Outschool for over 2 years, and I love coming up with new classes!
Homework will be posted 1 week before class (or as soon as the student enrolls). Students have the week to complete assignments in Spectrum Language Arts 4 (usually 1-2 pages/week). We will review it in these first 10 minutes of class.
Students will need paper & pencil in class. For students taking several weeks of class, A SPIRAL NOTEBOOK works best, so that they can keep all their work organized and together. Students are continuously, informally assessed in class. I adjust my teaching according to knowledge & experience of the students in each class.
