Welcome, artists! In this class, I will guide students through the process of creating a repeating pattern using the Procreate app. These are patterns that only take up a small amount of design space, such as one square, but you can place the square next to itself over and over again and your pattern will repeat. It's a great way to create things like backgrounds for your phone/computer or custom fabrics. The Procreate app is a great tool for this, because it's super user-friendly so it's...
Students will learn how to create a seamlessly repeating pattern using the Procreate app.
There's no required homework, but I encourage students to create more patterns once class is over, and they can share them to the classroom if they'd like!
For this class, students will need: -An iPad with Procreate installed -A drawing tool (such as the Apple pencil or something similar)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
