Teaching how to play live. There are many different aspects to play live. There is a lot that is going on into playing live. From the simple of things, like loading up for your first gig. All the set up that comes with setting up at your venue. How to dial in your amplifiers. Understanding a small or larger mixing board. Why it is we may need or not need different types of amplification. Proper microphone setup using mic stands and booms. Which type to use and why. How to connect microphones to mixing boards. As well as how to dial in each microphone for proper live sound. How to understand a room that you are setting up for proper sound and level. How to perform live. Understanding all the distraction going on durring a performance. How to overcome fears and build confidence for performing live. How to market yourself as an independent artist. Playing music is an art. Like other kinds of art, practice does help you succeed in your goals. It is something that takes time and patience. My lessons will give encouragement and direction. With patience applied. I have a warm approach and an open ear to listen well also. Positive reinforcement, but allowing them to think things through. They can ask questions during class or anytime after. I am here to help your student enjoy playing the Guitar and succeed in their goals.
If they wish to learn more singing or song writing with the Ukulele, I can teach them that as well. I have a warm approach and an open ear to listen well also. They can ask questions during class or anytime after. I am here to help your student enjoy playing the Ukulele.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I teach harmonica, guitar, and ukulele. I have been involved in music my whole life. I started as a child acting and singing.

As an adult, I learned harmonica in my 30's. Later in my 40's, I picked up guitar and ukulele.

My philosophy is to love what your doing and practice.
I love to make people smile with music, food, and humor.
