Description
Class Experience
This course will be offered as an on-going class to learn and review vowels teams through play. We will learn the rules to the spelling patterns and then practice spelling using pop-its (there is a printable version if your child does not have one) and sound boxes to help determine what sounds we hear and what letter or letters represents that sound. Your child will have to interact with throughout the course by discussing and viewing the slides to tell what does not belong in the picture...
This class is taught in English.
Homework is optional for this course, but learners will be able to have after class practice with an additional spelling activity where they are doing the same game with 5 additional words. They will have to look at the picture and decided what does not belong, color in the sound chips (like the pop-its in class) and match the sounds to letters to spell the word.
