Playful Piano Party - 4 Fun Introductory Piano Lessons for Ages 4-5
In this 4 week introductory piano class, students will explore and learn to play short songs on the piano with a fun party theme.

1 hour per week. 1-2 piano pieces will be assigned during each class and students should practice them on their own in between classes for best results.Class Experience
Let's make piano lessons feel like a party! In this 4 week introductory course for ages 4-5, we will learn Class 1: In the first class we learn to identify the two black keys and learn a song called The Two Black Keys. We will learn the music alphabet and learn our finger numbers along with long and short rhythms. Then we will learn the C key and the Celebrate Song. Class 2: Review and sing our musical alphabet. Review the black key pattern on the piano. Learn the D key. Review finger numbers. Learn the Party Hats Song on the D and C keys. Class 3: Review concepts learned so far and introduction of the E key. Learn Hip Hip Hooray song on the C D and E keys Class 4: We will review all that we have learned, play our favorite pieces for each other and play some games

My Background: From the moment I taught my first Early Childhood Music Class in 1998, I knew teaching was my calling and I have never looked back. In 2001, I started my own music studio and have been teaching preschool music classes, group piano lessons, private piano lessons and even ukulele classes!
My Education: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music and am a Music for Young Children Certified Teacher as well as an Advanced Piano Specialist with the Royal Conservatory of Music. I am also a Pro Certified Online Teacher with Teach Music Online.
When I'm not teaching you'll find me baking, running with my dogs, spending time with my family or cooking up more creative and fun ideas for teaching.Reviews
