In this ongoing class, kids will learn basic conversation, Pinyin, Chinese characters in Mandarin Chinese. We will also have a sing-along reading club to echo what we've learned each week.

Description
Class Experience
Kids will learn basic conversations in Mandarin Chinese such as: "Hello, My name is... I am ... years old. My family has ... people. They are.... I like to eat... I don't like to eat.... I love..." etc. Learners will learn how to write and read 2-4 Chinese characters each week. Learners will learn at least 1 Chinese song each week. Learners will learn how to read Pinyin(the Chinese phonetic alphabet) and be prepared for
Each Week, I will send out 2 practices base on our weekly topics. The Weekly learning plan is suggested as: Day 1: Online lesson ( practice will send out after the lesson.) Day 2: Finish the practice (5-15 mins) Day 3: Online lesson (Practice will send out after the lesson.) Day 4: Finish the practice. Day 5: Online lesson Day 6: Watch the weekly youtube playlist and finish the leftover practice. Day 7: Be a teacher, teach parents/friends/siblings our weekly topic.
Markers, Papers for writing characters when we are in the 2nd meeting each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
