Students will need an electric keyboard or access to an acoustic piano. During this course beginning musicians will learn how to play melodies, learn basic music theory and develop their musical reading skills. Students will need to purchase books for this course. Each class students will be presented with new material that will help them develop their musical skills and abilities. The goal will be to identify music symbols and begin playing the piano by reading music.
Piano is my main instrument and joy. I have taught and played music for several years, I am dedicated to the art of music education. I completely love teaching eager and willing young musicians.
Students will need to practice daily for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes 5 days a week.
