For my 3 and 4 your olds, I recommend parents sit next to their children just off camera to help make sure they have the right page, stay on task, and to keep them seated and quiet. I love children response. We just need to keep talking to a minimum. Some students show me their work, but I do not grade it. The parents sitting with their student can see if their student is picking up on the skill. I do not do formal or informal assessments of the students progress. There is no grade involved and no tears. Just fun! YouTube videos and Google slides are rated G.
