US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
Our sessions will include finger warmups that allow children to build up their fingers and hand muscles. These are the same muscles they use in daily life and for writing. Our welcoming environment will encourage children to explore the materials and interact with their peers. My teaching style is to create a safe environment where children can take risks and explore.
Learning Goals
Fine motor skills: Controlling small muscles using utensils, self-care, building, and exploring.
Develop hand strength and agility.
Develop eye-hand coordination to use everyday tools.

Learning Needs
Our social clubs are lively and intended for everyone. In our groups, we learn about taking turns, listening and speaking, and asking and answering questions. I will guide the merriment to support all learners and create inclusion.

Allergen Notice - Play dough contains WHEAT
Pre-Requisites
Children should be able to attend a brief story or video (10-15 minutes) and refrain from eating the dough. We will have an edible recipe for those unable to control impulses.

Hello! I am Teacher Cindi. I believe children should have access to quality educational experiences that support their unique developmental needs and prepare them for the future. I have a background in early childhood and early childhood special education that spans several decades. I have also completed additional coursework in Gifted Education, the Science of Reading, ZooPhonics, and supporting young children on the Autism Spectrum (Trained in the SCERTS model and Zones of Regulation). I am available for 1:1 tutoring for reading readiness/ reading intervention. and Social Emotional Learning (for neurodiverse students). Watch for classes geared toward Preschoolers and Kindergarteners . I am planning both 1:1 tutoring sessions and small group classes.
I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education . I love seeing the excitement when a child masters a new skill. I will make learning fun while building confidence and skills. When I am not in the classroom, I spend time with my family and friends, create artwork, and hang out with my cat, Claudette.
