We will use play dough as a tool for learning a variety of early concepts. Each session will focus on a different skill ranging from patterns, shapes, counting, number recognition, letter recognition, beginning sounds, rhyming, etc. Concepts will be taught based on student input. For example if we are learning to rhyme, I may ask students to make their favorite food with play dough and then make a silly rhyme about it together.
