Description
Class Experience
In this ongoing course, we will go through the letters of the alphabet and their sounds. This class is for pre kindergarten, kindergarten, or letter review for your little one. We will start by introducing our names and going over the current letter focus of that day. We will discuss if they have ever seen this letter anywhere in their day to day environment and what they notice about the letter. We will discuss what makes up that letter and then we will then build the letter using play-doh!...
This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to recognize the letters of the alphabet and their sounds.
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have experience being a Kindergarten teacher.
Students will need Play-doh to build letters. I would like students to also bring and writing utensil and a piece of paper to practice writing the letters we learn!
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Play-doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
