Play-Doh Bakery: Making Sweet Treats
Students will become play-doh bakers and make sweet treats for their bakeries using play-doh or salt dough clay! Students will use their imaginations to create donuts, cookies, cupcakes, and an ice cream cone from a lump of clay!

This class will be an opportunity for students to use their imaginations and fine tune fine motor skills while manipulating clay to create the sweetest baked treats. Students will be guided step by step through the building of 4 sweet treats and cover basic clay vocabulary during the class! I will be interacting and ensuring students feel supported as they are met with challenges throughout the class. No prior knowledge or experience is required, just a daring imagination and a positive mindset!
Learning Goals
Students will gain a basic knowledge of clay building vocabulary. Students will also grow in their ability to manipulate clay.

Supply List
-Various colors of Play-Doh OR Salt Dough Clay Recipe for Salt Dough Clay: (small batch) Pour 1/4 cup of salt into 1/4 cup of water and add 1/2 cup of flour until ball forms. Add food coloring to create different colors of "Play-Doh" -Popsicle Stick (thin pencil, or anything similar)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
