Welcome to Video Game Club: Animal Crossing! This is where your student can meet other friends to share in the game Animal Crossing each week.   Animal Crossing is a seasonal game, releasing content each week to keep it fun and interesting. With this ongoing class, we will go over new tips and new game changes that have released, or seasonal changes we can all incorporate into our game when we are playing.  This is good for experienced or new learners. 

Students will need the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game and Nintendo Online Membership to play with other learners. Without the membership, students can join in with the conversation but won't be able to travel to islands. 

Each week will be student-led by their interests. 
Each week we will:
* start the meeting with the weekly updates that include special seasonal items and events. 
* share island updates from players who want to share 
* playing the game together
* discussing our current favorite parts of animal crossing; characters, villagers, flower breeding, fossils, insects, etc. 
* play in-game special mini-games within the game (hide and seek, fishing tournaments, bug catching events, etc.)

The class will be student-led. We will have discussions based on their interests and opinions to dive deeper into Animal Crossing strategy.   All Animal Crossing discussion is welcome but students will likely want to talk about the newest addition: New Horizons.

Students are welcome to participate in the chat function if they find group discussion overwhelming and I will be there to facilitate.

Feel free to cancel your subscription at any point! This is an ongoing class and is very flexible with week-to-week enrollments.
