Welcome to Video Game Club: Animal Crossing! This is where your student can meet other friends to share in the game Animal Crossing each week. Animal Crossing is a seasonal game, releasing content each week to keep it fun and interesting. With this ongoing class, we will go over new tips and new game changes that have released, or seasonal changes we can all incorporate into our game when we are playing. Learners will: *increase communication skills with others of various backgrounds and life experiences over a common interest. *use cooperative skills to work together with peers on a common goal or activity *use critical thinking skills to solve problems based in the game
Learners must have access to a Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite and the game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. They must also have a Nintendo Online Membership to be able to travel to other islands.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please note, students will need to have a subscription with "Nintendo Online Membership" in order to access online features such as visiting others' islands. It is highly recommended to have this membership, as students spend a lot of time visiting and trading items on their islands.
